Job Summary
A Quality Inspector is required to join the Quality team, responsible for ensuring the quality of finished products. This pivotal role involves inspection, reporting, and control, as well as addressing quality concerns and escalating ongoing issues.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Final run and test of machines to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* PDI report out meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns.
* PDI reports and associated paperwork must be accurately completed and maintained.
* Routine internal auditing to identify areas for improvement.
* Inspection of parts, both internally and externally fabricated, to ensure quality standards are met.
* Active identification and resolution of quality concerns on a daily basis.
* Escalation of ongoing quality issues to relevant stakeholders.
* Maintenance of accurate records in Pulse Engine, including serial numbers and DRs.
* Verification of production paperwork to ensure completion and accuracy.
* Supporting the provision of tours for dealers and suppliers.
* Assistance in quality investigations as required.
Requirements
* Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
* Effective teamwork and communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
* Good awareness of health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
* Ability to create clear and concise written reports.
Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge of Heavy Engineering machines and their operation.
* Experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Electrical and hydraulic experience, an asset.
