Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote)
Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension)
Role Overview
My client is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy ML models and AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and software teams to create scalable, production-ready machine learning pipelines that drive business insights and automation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions
2. Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, and deployment
3. Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate ML solutions into production systems
4. Monitor model performance, retrain models, and ensure scalability and reliability
5. Implement best practices in model testing, versioning, and governance
6. Conduct data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation
7. Document solutions and share knowledge with team members
Key Requirements
8. Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
9. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent
10. Experience with ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn,
11. Knowledge of cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform)
12. Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and SQL/noSQL databases
13. Experience with model deployment, monitoring, and optimization
14. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
