Are you a Nurse that is passionat e about making a difference in people's lives?Do you have excellent leadership and communication skills?Assist with hiring, training nurses and monitor nurses.Managing clinical operations and developing care plans.Preparing the daily schedule and planning shifts.Ensuring nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.Assisting in budget preparation and expense management.Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.Evaluating the performance of the department and recommending improvements.Scheduling staff meetings for patient updates, issues, and recommendations.RequirementsHave not less than 3 years’ management experience of nursing older persons in the last 6 yearsHave a minimum of 7 years post-registration experienceHave in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and regulatory inspection activity as they pertain to residential care centresHold a third-level qualification in managementHave the ability to manage one’s own workload effectively while responding flexibly to new demands at short noticeDemonstrate an ability to embrace change and be committed to continuous improvement and learning throughout the residential care homeHave the skill to influence others, build constructive relationships and achieve outcomesPromote an ethos and culture of quality assurance within the clinical area, identifying and establishing benchmarks and KPIs in consultation with the Director of NursingBe a Registered General NurseBe available to work flexible hours when requiredContinuous Professional Development and training
