About Your Role
Tigera seeks highly skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Architects to extend sales team success. You will work closely with Account Executives and be the primary technical contact for customers.
As a product expert, you will take a consultative approach to identifying customer pain points and driving technical alignment. This role involves frequent communication with customers, advancing the sales process, and staying up-to-date on industry trends.

You Will
* Lead technical engagements in the region, ensuring customer success with Tigera support.
* Assist potential customers with demos, qualification, architecture, PoCs, and lab trials to drive successful deployments.
* Analyze requirements from the field and help derive features or capabilities that meet those needs.
* Engage with leads and cultivate prospective customers.
* Become a trusted resource and advocate for customers within Tigera.
* Respond to proposals and RFIs/RFPs.
* Work towards reaching sales quota as part of the sales team.
* Travel approximately 25% to customer locations.
* Conduct hands-on workshops and generate technical blog posts.
You Have
* At least 3 years of experience in pre/post-sales organizations.
* 7+ years of experience in data center environments, preferably related to networking, security, orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and/or scale-out/big-data environments.
* Previous experience as a pre-sales engineer supporting complex software sales cycles.
* Experience with security, compliance, and/or InfoSec skills is strongly preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting complex architectures.
* Ability to write scripts or glue-code to automate installations and integrate components.
* A deep technical understanding of cloud and container technologies (such as AWS, GCE, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes) and microservices deployment patterns.
* Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
