Role Overview
Perform accounting duties associated with a specific accounting function. Responsibilities are within the Accounting Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines. In some instances (depending on the area of support) this role will be required to manage resources and will review the work of Accounts Assistants.

Team Background


What you will help us to achievePerform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedulesPrepare, record, analyse and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principlesProvide financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analysing variations from budgetAnalyse and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, regulatory returns and reportsMaintain accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls and prepare financial reportsMay be involved in the development and implementation of accounting systems (both manual and computerized), and documentation of systems and procedures/instructions

What you will need to be successful in the role
