Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Dublin
Description:
* Opportunity exists for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Operations & Maintenance team based in Dublin. There is an availability for DAY and SHIFT roles.
* The engineer will train on all processes and techniques across Predictive Maintenance, CMMS (Pemac), Reliability techniques, HV and LV distribution, Turbines, Boilers Compressors, Diesel Generators Pumps.
* The engineer may also be required to support the site in emergency situations outside of normal working hours.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Primary Duties Include :
Coordinate the day to day work with shift technicians on-site particularly morning shift changeover Trouble-shooting and high-level investigation of utility plant equipment faults and failures Root cause analysis Compliance/quality engineering - recording and investigation of deviations on utility plant and equipment Carry out planned preventive predictive corrective maintenance as required Good knowledge understanding of CMMS systems Develop PMs Job Plans SOPs for plant equipment Liaising with site planner re stores identify spare part requirements Review maintenance programme periodically ensure optimal uptime levels achieved Experience with HV low voltage electrical generation turbines diesel generators boilers fuel oil storage amp; distribution industrial gas installations Have sufficient knowledge allow decision making taking utilitarian economics operating cost management off line communicating people place appropriate action restore back order standby system Provide leadership mentoring growing capability resolve complex distinctions associated scheduled operations performance enhancement supervision correct fault at source Support Site Chief other functions root cause engineers determine sequence events underlying primary reason develop recommendations repair failure Responsible carry planning executing service isolation contracts continuing annual professional development Continuous Improvement improvements perform expert analyses investigations enhance productivity mechanical integrity asset overall economic efficiency Possess underpinning discipline degree desired 7 plus years experience similar analogous role Preferred Senior Trades City Guild equivalent If interested update CV attached review
