Norwood Grange Nursing Home is currently seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of care for our 30 residents who call Norwood home.
This is a senior leadership role for a nurse who is passionate about person-centred care, clinical excellence, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strong clinical and professional leadership to the nursing and care teams
• Ensure high standards of resident care in line with HIQA regulations and best practice
• Oversee clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management
• Support, mentor, and develop staff through effective leadership and education
• Work closely with the Person in Charge, multidisciplinary team, residents, and families
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Requirements
• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Minimum of 3–5 years' senior nursing management experience, ideally in a nursing home or elder care setting
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
