The role of the Social Care Worker/Leader involves developing positive attachments through relationship building with the overall goal of encouraging the development of these relationships. This will be achieved by engaging the young people in the programme and building rapport in support of developing relationships. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team of Social Care professionals to deliver robust, holistic, trauma-informed care to the young people.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for working with Children and Young People, household activities, administration, teamwork, professional development, health and safety. The successful candidates will have responsibility for ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and ability to discharge their duties effectively. For the Social Care Leader positions, there is a requirement that a candidate must have a minimum 2 years' experience working with young people in a residential setting. This will enable them to provide a high standard of suitability and ability in their work.

Required Skills: ">

· Full manual driving license

· Minimum of 6 months experience in Social Care(placement experience accepted)

· Registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU

· Hold a CORU approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application will be necessary)

· Be eligible for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU (evidence of application will be necessary)
