Job Description
* The candidate will act as the drainage lead on projects, working independently and providing updates to clients, as well as supporting junior staff.
* Must have experience in drainage network design, including pipework, surface water channels, gullies, and attenuation systems.
* Experience in flow estimation and catchment analysis is required.
* Must have culvert design experience following CIRIA guidance and have completed OPW Section 50 applications.
* Knowledge of TII drainage publications, the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works, DMURS, and the SuDS manual is essential.
Qualifications
* BSc Civil Engineering or equivalent, with at least 7 years of drainage design experience on large civil infrastructure projects.
* Skills in drainage design per TII publications and DMURS projects.
* Proficiency in MicroDrainage or similar software.
* Proficiency in HEC-RAS modeling or similar.
* Proficiency in CulvertMaster or similar.
Beneficial skills include Civils 3D, QGIS, ProjectWise, and SharePoint.
This is a permanent staff role with Egis in Ireland, with office locations in Dublin, Cork, Castlebar, and Limerick, offering hybrid working options.
