Memory Clinic Specialist Fellowship Opportunity
This role presents a unique chance to contribute to the assessment and management of cognitive disorders in a regional specialist memory clinic setting. As a clinical fellow, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing neurocognitive assessments, diagnoses, and management for individuals presenting with cognitive impairment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the development of a new service, shaping the role as it evolves to meet the needs of the clinic. This position requires a strong commitment to medicine, excellent decision-making skills, and a broad clinical knowledge base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in the assessment and management of patients with cognitive disorders
* Contribute to the development of a new service and shape the role as it evolves
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
* Basic Specialty Training in General Medicine
* Clinical experience in Neurology or Geriatric Medicine
* Ability to undertake a Masters degree aligned with neurocognitive disorders
* Proficiency with lumber puncture and awareness of patient safety and risk management issues
