Overview
There are currently three permanent whole-time positions available. Two posts in WICOP Waterford: one based at the WICOP Integrated Care Hub in Waterford City and one in WICOP based in Dungarvan Community Hospital, with a key role in the Nursing Home Liaison service. One post in WICOP based in Wexford: based at the WEXICOP Integrated Care Hub, supporting integrated care services across Wexford.
Responsibilities
* Provide Clinical Nurse Specialist (General) expertise within Older Persons Care as relevant to the role.
* Participate in or lead Nurse Prescribing of Medicinal Products as agreed, with required certification.
* Participate in or lead Nurse Prescribing of Ionising Radiation as agreed, with required certification.
* Complete the Joint Injection Course within an agreed timeframe.
