Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Opportunity
About the Role
eir evo talent are partnering with an innovative company in a rapidly growing market to hire a hands‑on, execution‑focused Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This is a builder role where you will lead the technical vision and delivery of a scalable SaaS platform. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll translate product strategy into a secure, high‑performing solution while laying the foundations for a strong engineering culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Architecture
Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture of the SaaS platform
Design for scalability, security, performance, and cost‑efficiency
Make pragmatic technology decisions suited to early‑stage realities
Ensure platform reliability and resilience
Product & Platform Delivery
Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to deliver customer‑driven features
Lead development of analytics‑driven capabilities, including data ingestion and reporting
Balance speed of delivery with long‑term maintainability
Contribute code during the initial build phase
Cloud & Cost Optimization Expertise
Act as the technical authority on Microsoft Azure, including APIs, governance, and cost management
Architect solutions aligned with best practices for cost optimization and usage analytics
Stay informed on platform updates impacting product direction
Engineering Team & Culture
Build and mentor a small, high-performing engineering team
Establish strong engineering practices (CI/CD, testing, documentation, security)
Foster a culture of ownership and commercial awareness
Scale the team thoughtfully as the company grows
Strategic Contribution
Be a key member of the leadership team
Support investor discussions and technical due diligence
Translate business goals into actionable technical plans
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as CTO, VP Engineering, or senior technical leader in SaaS
Strong background in analytics platforms or cost‑optimization domains
Deep hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure
Track record of building and scaling cloud‑native SaaS products
Comfortable operating in an early‑stage environment
Technical Skills
Cloud‑native architecture (microservices, serverless, event‑driven)
Data platforms and analytics pipelines
Security and compliance in Azure
Modern DevOps and CI/CD practices
Ability to write and review production‑grade code
Personal Attributes
Self‑starter with a hands‑on approach
Commercially aware and customer‑focused
Pragmatic about technology choices
Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup setting
Success in 12–18 Months
A stable, scalable, and secure platform in market
