Working hours: shifts start at 7:30 AM Irish time, Monday to Friday.
We are seeking a: Jewellery and Quality Control Specialist.
Job responsibilities
Organize and ensure proper quality controls on finished products, components, and repair processes, adhering to Bulgari's standards.
The successful candidate will undergo a minimum of 3 months of training in Italy.
Train with our Quality Control team at our largest jewellery manufacturing plant.
What to expect from this role?
* Ensure compliance with quality standards for finished products and coordinate inspections.
* Maintain regular communication with our Italian Quality Control team to ensure quality alignment.
* Support management of quality issues reported by the Italian team.
* Collaborate with the polishing team to communicate production needs and provide feedback.
* Prioritize workload based on supply planning.
* Accurately document Quality Control reports and data in systems for reporting.
* Review and improve Quality Control processes and oversee their implementation.
* Provide feedback on quality results and contribute to ongoing quality system updates.
* Establish and monitor metrics and KPIs to evaluate process effectiveness, proposing corrective actions as needed.
* Promote continuous improvement of Bulgari products' quality to maintain market impact.
* Work with other departments on initiatives aimed at quality enhancement.
* Support business events and tours, offering expert quality advice.
* Participate in refresher training sessions in Italy and Dublin.
Profile
Requirements:
Extensive experience and passion for large-scale jewellery making, with a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
Experience with:
* Raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products in the assigned category.
* Precious metals like gold and platinum.
* Gemstone and diamond knowledge.
* Production processes such as goldsmith techniques, polishing, casting, soldering, stone setting, plating, and hallmarking.
* Jewellery inspection tools like loupes, mandrels, and calipers.
* Jewellery industry quality standards.
* Quality management principles and procedures.
* Incoming and in-process quality control techniques.
