This is an excellent opportunity to manage technically complex projects from conception to completion while leading high-performing teams. Role Overview Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget, ensuring the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone with a strong building/construction background, including both new build and fit-out experience, who enjoys leading multi-disciplinary teams. About the Projects Projects include commercial, general contracting, and fit-out works for high-profile clients. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including programme management, quality control, cost management, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to specification. Develop and maintain the construction programme in collaboration with the Contracts Manager. Lead, coach, and mentor your project team to achieve objectives efficiently. Implement and promote an excellent safety culture across all project activities. Ensure project quality meets expectations and aligns with design requirements. Manage project costs, preliminaries, and subcontractor packages effectively. Maintain excellent relationships with clients, design teams, and stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, claims, and delays. Work closely with the commercial team to achieve project objectives. Candidate Profile Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 5+ years experience managing complex building projects, including new build and fit-out works. Proven ability to plan, deliver, and oversee complex projects. Strong technical knowledge and numeracy skills; confident in report writing and project documentation. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Commercially aware and able to propose cost-effective solutions. Computer literate, proficient in MS Office and scheduling software (MS Project or similar).
