Water Conservation Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Conservation Specialist to lead our leakage detection team in the Cork region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the performance of the team, overseeing leakage detection operations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage leakage detection teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, skills development, performance reviews, and efficient use of resources.
* Oversee leakage detection operations, DMA integrity, data accuracy, and use of technology.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external parties, ensuring effective planning, permitting, and reporting.
* Prioritise and direct proactive and reactive leakage control activities, manage small projects, and escalate issues appropriately.
* Enforce safety procedures, provide necessary equipment, and ensure legal and procedural adherence.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years direct relevant experience of working in a senior water network management role or utility network management role.
* Relevant third-level qualification and/or accreditation is desirable.
* Experience/understanding of working within a strong health & safety culture.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Effective communication skills, to engage with a broad range of internal stakeholders and front-line employees.
* Financial analysis skills.
