What You'll Be Responsible For
* Developing and owning strategic Grocery Key Account Plans across a national customer portfolio
* Building long-term, value-driven relationships with key retail and convenience customers
* Delivering forecast and budgeted revenue targets with full commercial accountability
* Growing distribution through targeted range expansion and new customer opportunities
* Leading the development and execution of Joint Business Plans with key customers
* Managing promotional calendars, trade spend, and price promotions in line with budget
* Full ownership of customer price files, including CPI implementation and compliance
* Delivering accurate, timely sales forecasts at SKU level
* Driving the successful launch of new products, range reviews, and distribution targets
* Partnering with Commercial Finance and Trade Marketing to create customer-specific promotional plans that maximise profitability
* Analysing complex data sets to identify opportunities, risks, and solutions — and presenting clear, actionable recommendations
* Continuously learning from past activity to refine, optimise, and improve future plans
* Acting as a leader within the wider team, supporting and developing colleagues to reach their potential
* Taking on additional responsibilities as required to support wider business objectives
About You:
* Extensive experience in sales and key customer management within a grocery retail or wholesale environment
* A degree in a business-related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience)
* Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of margin, pricing, and profitability
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* A proven ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally
* Confident negotiation skills with a track record of delivering win-win outcomes
* Highly organised, with strong planning and prioritisation abilities
* Resilience, adaptability, and the confidence to work autonomously
* Experience managing change in fast-paced commercial environments
* High level of IT proficiency, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
