Due to their growth levels to date they have a new requirement to appoint an experienced Financial Controller who will support the CFO across all areas of finance.The PositionThis role will report to the CFO and support across all areas in finance, it will encompass a project and transformational element along with managing regular finance activities. There is a strong focus on automation and process improvement ensuring a scalable finance function to support their growth trajectory.Some of the duties will include:Lead and develop a multi jurisdictional finance teamSupport with M&A activityDeliver financial reporting and KPI analysisBudgeting, forecasting and cashflowManage Year End process and liaise with Group AuditorsReview and improve accounting systems, policies and procedures and continually optimise the accounting operationsERP system implementationManaging all reporting back to lendersThe PersonThe role is high profile within the business and successful candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge:Qualified accountant with at least 8 years PQERelevant industry gained within a fast paced environment, ideally PE backedDemonstrated ability to lead a teamExcellent technical financial accounting skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilityThe ability to work within tight deadlines, pay close attention to detail and ensure quality in outputA well-motivated team player with a strong ability to work on own initiativeStrong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenWorking knowledge of financial systemsInterested in this role?To apply for this position please contact Suzanne Fowler at 01 6797990 or forward your CV to industry@accountancysolutions.ie25/26 Merchant’s Quay, Dublin 8, D08 NT3K, Ireland.
