Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Wexford. The Accountant will handle financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include processing invoices, tracking expenses, preparing financial statements, conducting reconciliations, assisting with audits, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain the financial health of the organization is an integral part of the role.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
* Hands-on experience with Reconciliations, Payroll, and Taxation processes
* Familiarity with Accounting Software and Tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and proficiency in Spreadsheet Management
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
* Ability to meet deadlines and operate in a fast-paced work environment
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in financial advising or cross-team collaboration
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage
* Previous experience in logistics, transport, or a related industry is a plus
