Join Clink Hostels as a Front of House Manager and become the face of our Dublin hostel, ensuring every guest experiences exceptional service from check-in to departure.
The role requires a people‑oriented leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, juggling multiple priorities while keeping smiles on our guests’ faces. You will report to the General Manager/Operations Manager and oversee the day‑to‑day front office operations, coaching the Reception Host and Security teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the successful operation of the lobby and reception area.
* Manage front office operations: guest check‑in/out, reservations, timing management, and guest queries.
* Lead and inspire the Front of House team and collaborate with revenue management to optimise room and bed allocation.
* Monitor and manage the front office budget, occupancy, revenue, and KPIs.
* Proactively sell and upsell services, drive ancillary sales (travel shop items, tour tickets, café sales).
* Maintain high standards of service, organisation, and presentation across the department.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and security regulations.
* Conduct shift briefings, weekly team meetings, and monthly manager meetings to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a Front Office leadership role.
* Proven track record in revenue management and commercial acumen.
* Strong knowledge of the Dublin hospitality market and competitor landscape.
* Proficiency with hotel PMS (previous MEWS experience a plus), channel managers and revenue management systems.
* Excellent guest service and complaint resolution skills.
* Demonstrated success in running a Front Office team.
* A natural people person who loves making guests feel welcome.
