Our client, a leader in the construction and manufacturing industry, is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Sales Administrator / Sales Representative will support the smooth administration of the sales process, from lead generation to quotation and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospect, research, and engage potential customers through outbound and inbound channels (phone, email, LinkedIn).
2. Qualify leads to assess fit, intent, and readiness, and schedule meetings and demos for Sales Representatives.
3. Maintain and fully utilise the CRM to manage leads, pipeline activity, and issued quotations.
4. Work towards monthly KPI targets, including qualified meetings and pipeline creation.
5. Draft, issue, and track client quotations, liaising with estimating to ensure required information is available.
6. Create and maintain accurate client, project, and contract documentation within internal systems.
7. Prepare reports and provide administrative support for Sales & Marketing meetings, including minute-taking.
8. Support sales events, exhibitions, and ad hoc projects as directed by the Sales Director.
Requirements:
9. 3-5 years' experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (motivated entry-level candidates will be considered).
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
12. Proactive, with a strong "can-do" attitude.
13. Familiarity with CRM systems such as Pipedrive, Salesforce or HubSpot (desirable).
14. Flexible, adaptable, and resilient.
