Purpose of the Role
The Team Lead provides person-centred care and support for service users with Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism.
The role coordinates on-floor shifts, supervises other staff, collaborates with the MDT, and reports to the Person In-Charge.
In the Person In-Charge's absence, the Team Lead may deputise and assume management responsibilities.
Role Requirements
A Level 5 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with Disability modules (or a relevant discipline).
Three years' experience working in a residential, respite, or day service setting with people with an intellectual disability.
Desirable: experience managing a team.
