The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.
About the Role:
Ferrero is looking for a motivated and commercially focused National Account Executive to join our dynamic Sales team in Ireland. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our National and Key Account Managers in managing customer relationships and driving performance across key retail channels.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build your commercial skillset in a fast-paced FMCG environment, working with some of the world’s most iconic brands including Nutella, Kinder, and Ferrero Rocher.
Main Responsibilities:
As a National Account Executive, you will work closely with our commercial team to support the planning and execution of sales strategies that drive growth and visibility in store. You will assist in the preparation of customer sales plans, commercial proposals, and promotional calendars, ensuring alignment with wider business goals. Your role will also involve supporting contract processes, including securing internal sign-offs, assisting in negotiations, and ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
You will help manage sales volume targets and promotional budgets, contributing to accurate forecasting, tracking spend, and evaluating performance against targets. In collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Trade Marketing, and Category, you will support the execution of pricing strategies, promotional plans, and display activities. You will monitor category and customer performance, identify areas for improvement, and assist in developing solutions that enhance commercial success.
Additionally, you will play a role in preparing materials for customer meetings, tracking and sharing updates on sales activities, and maintaining close communication with stakeholders to ensure key insights are captured and shared. Part of your responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate customer and product master data in our systems, ensuring all updates are reflected across teams and that sales data is communicated clearly and effectively.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a commercially aware and highly organised individual who can operate confidently in a collaborative environment. You should be comfortable working with data, have strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills, and be able to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders. A natural relationship builder, you will bring credibility and a positive, solutions-focused mindset to the team, along with the ability to influence and contribute to ongoing success.
You should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and comfortable using digital tools to support analysis and presentation. Previous experience or a strong interest in the FMCG or retail sector will be an advantage. A proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented approach will help you succeed in this role, especially within Ferrero’s dynamic and fast-paced commercial environment.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
We encourage all our people to think creatively to set personal targets and objectives and push new, better ways to work. Employee contribution and engagement at Ferrero is based on the individual, team and organization dimension, so should have the ability to work independently, as a part of the team and be able to build proper relations with stakeholders at all levels. A demonstrable consumer-focused attitude and autonomy in managing relationships will help you in building your position among stakeholders and achieving expected sales outcomes.
