I am delighted to be working alongside a well-established and growing small accounting practice in Galway. This firm is dedicated to providing high-quality financial, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Known for their personalised approach and commitment to excellence, they are now looking to expand the team with the addition of a fully qualified accountant.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Management of client relationships, offering clear advice and guidance
* Completion of VAT returns, payroll, and tax compliance work
* Assistance with management accounts and business advisory services
* Liaising with Revenue/Companies House as needed
* Keeping up to date with relevant tax and accounting legislation
Requirements
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years of experience in practice (preferably in a small to mid-sized firm)
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficient in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
* Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
