Reporting to the, and Operations Manager the team member will operate a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests. Food Service is a key element of our trade so experience in this service would be very beneficial.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure a good working knowledge of food, wine and cocktails. Be able to make recommendations.Ensure adequate stock in the bar and ensuring all back of house areas are kept clean and to standardBe friendly, courteous and professional at all times.Up-sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.Promote good team relations in F&B team ensuring fairness and consistency.Lead, support, inform and guide junior team members.Ensure all Cleaning checklists and Paperwork is in order and on file.In the absence of manager ensure all sections are allocated appropriately amongst the team.Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs and ensure recycling is undertaken.Requirements:Must be available midweek and weekend for workThe ability to work on own initiative and be very organisedFluent English and excellent communication skills is vitalFlexibility with ability to work varying shift patternsPrevious hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired but not essential.Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.Must be able to multi-task and be willing to help out where required in all areas of the hotel.Must have excellent people skills and be extremely customer focused.Must be enthusiastic and a quick learner.Must be over 18 years of age.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €28,000.00-€30,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountGym membershipOn-site gymOn-site parkingSick payWellness programAbility to commute/relocate:Killaloe, CO.
