Head of Prospect Research
This role involves leading strategic identification of potential major donors to support fundraising objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with fundraisers.
The selected individual will be responsible for managing a team that provides valuable insights to inform development strategies. A key aspect of this position is fostering relationships with stakeholders to drive success in securing significant donations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing prospect research strategies that meet or exceed fundraising targets
* Liaising with colleagues across departments to ensure alignment on strategy and goals
* Maintaining accurate records of donor interactions and providing timely updates on progress toward fundraising objectives
Requirements:
1. A minimum of eight years' experience in research roles within higher education institutions or similar organizations;
2. Demonstrated track record of effective collaboration and teamwork;
The selected candidate must possess exceptional communication, negotiation, data analysis & project management skills;
