About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our growing project delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile engineering and construction projects within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, supporting the successful delivery of complex projects across multiple sectors. As Document Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management, distribution, and control of project documentation across all stages of the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all project documentation in line with company procedures and project requirements
Ensure timely distribution of drawings, technical documents, transmittals, and submittals
Maintain document control registers and tracking systems
Carry out quality checks on incoming and outgoing documentation
Monitor document revisions and ensure teams are working from the latest approved versions
Support project teams with document management processes and workflows
Generate reports for project management and clients as required
Assist with the setup and administration of document control systems
Ensure compliance with naming conventions and document standards
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding document submissions and approvals

Requirements

Previous experience in a Document Controller or administrative role within construction, engineering, or a related industry
Strong organisational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience using document management platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM360, Procore, Asite, Aconex, or similar
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
