, is seeking an
Engineering & Maintenance Lead
to join their site leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the maintenance and continuous improvement strategy at a state-of-the-art facility producing premium dairy products.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Site Lead, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance strategy, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. You'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the site's maintenance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
* Own and deliver KPIs across safety, equipment efficiency, downtime, preventative maintenance, energy optimisation, and project delivery.
* Drive proactive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimise unplanned downtime.
* Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and engineering projects.
* Champion lean manufacturing principles and implement best-in-class maintenance systems.
* Promote sustainability and EH&S compliance across all engineering activities.
About You:
* Trade qualified and/or third-level qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
* 5–10 years' experience in a manufacturing, process, or maintenance leadership role—ideally in the dairy, food, or beverage sector.
* Strong background in hygienic maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, PEMAC).
* Results-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
