The Group Sales Director oversees all sales planning, coordination and implementation for the organization. This role involves heading up four properties.
Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with key clients to grow revenue across multiple market segments.
* Lead and coordinate sales activities across four hotels.
* Implement a selling strategy to grow business levels for each hotel in all markets.
* Build and manage relationships with stakeholders within the hotels and external activities.
* Capture opportunities for PR & media exposure for the hotels.
* Apply commercial and effective yield management for all sources of business.
* Attract, retain, motivate, coach and develop high-performance Sales teams to achieve business targets.
* Be familiar with the customer database and maintenance of the sales IT infrastructure.
* Leverage International Franchise Agreements for maximum benefits.
* Manage and control annual sales goals with directors.
* Assist at Board level in formulating commercial strategy and expansion.
The ideal candidate has at least five years' experience as Director of Sales & Marketing or equivalent title within quality establishments with group and franchise experience.
This position requires a high level of drive, enthusiasm, excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, strong leadership and people skills, and ability to present and interpret sales content and analytics at a board level.
