Warman O’Brien is exclusively retained by a global pharmaceutical company to lead the search for a Director of Biometrics. The role is to lead and develop a growing statistics function at their Cork hub in Ireland. This is a strategic leadership position that blends team coaching, technical oversight, and global portfolio support within a group that functions like a small biotech inside one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.
Responsibilities
* Strategic impact – Lead trial design, influence study protocols, and shape regulatory submissions that drive real change in patient outcomes.
* High visibility – Present findings to global teams, regulators, and at scientific meetings, positioning yourself as a key scientific voice in the therapeutic area.
* Innovation & leadership – Apply cutting-edge statistical methods, introduce new tools, and lead cross-functional projects that directly influence business decisions.
Qualifications
* PhD (required) or MS in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field
