Gym and Group Fitness Instructor Role at The Watershed, Kilkenny
We have a vacancy for a permanent Gym and Group Fitness Class Instructor, working thirty nine hours per week. This will involve shift work, including evenings and weekends on rotation, reporting directly to the Duty Manager of this area.
We can alternatively offer two part-time roles for this position if full-time is not suitable.
Previous experience working as a Gym and Fitness Class Instructor is required and in particular, experience of teaching Spin Cycling and Kettlebells classes. A Les Mills qualification is also an advantage but not required.
The ideal candidate should:
* Be able to provide evidence of appropriate qualification and demonstrate a history of teaching a range of popular, contemporary and successful fitness classes
* Possess the motivation to be an active presence on the gym floor, supporting and advising users of varying experience, fitness levels, abilities and objectives
* Hold a passion for maintaining personal and operational standards at the highest level
* Provide initiatives on how to maximise customer recruitment and retention and demonstrate how this was previously successfully completed
