Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Network and Systems Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network and systems infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security across all platforms.Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and manage LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks and Virtual Infrastructure.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, storage, and network devices.Maintain and optimize Windows and Linux server environments.Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security protocols.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.Document network and system configurations, procedures, and changes.Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement and support.Key Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to system reliability and security.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Qualifications3+ years of experience in network and systems engineering.Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, AWS) are a plus.Full drivers license (Travel required).
