We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary to join a top tier law firm in Limerick City. The successful candidate will provide essential support to solicitors and legal executives, ensuring the smooth operation of legal proceedings and day-to-day administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and format legal documents including briefs, contracts, and court forms
* Manage correspondence with clients, courts, and other solicitors
* Maintain and organise case files, both digital and paper
* Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and arrange meetings
* Handle client queries with professionalism and discretion
* Conduct basic legal research and compile necessary case information
* Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court schedules and filing requirements
* Assist in billing and invoicing
Requirements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Confidentiality, discretion, and professional
* Legal secretarial qualification or other relevant qualification is desirable
