About the Role
The Product Development Technician provides technical support to engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical devices and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be able to design, develop and implement delivery systems for client companies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design & develop delivery systems for client companies
* Assemble, test & package complex mechanical devices following written & verbal instructions.
* Work with Engineers to design & develop assembly methods
* Maintain accurate work records such as engineering notebooks and routers
* Train assemblers, technicians, & engineers in assembly methods
* Maintain accurate inventory records
