Candidates for this position will work as part of a team at our Newbridge site to undertake activities related to laboratory operations and compliance. This is an onsite based role with an attached shift working pattern.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Routinely performs sampling and analysis, providing training and development opportunities for colleagues.
2. Writes laboratory investigations, ensuring compliant and timely event resolution, participating in error reduction activities.
3. Performs additional laboratory duties as required and conducts peer reviews.
4. Ensures efficient customer service by maintaining laboratory processes, equipment, and services in an operational state.
5. Participates in non-routine or complex projects and contributes to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
6. Writes laboratory documentation, protocols, reports, and PRRs, identifying areas for improvement.
7. Ensures strict adherence to site policies/procedures, cGMP/GLP, and environmental health and safety regulations.
8. Maintains area of responsibility in a constant state of compliance and audit readiness, updating procedures and documentation accordingly.
9. Executes responsibilities in line with Right First-Time principles and resolves issues effectively.
10. Demonstrates company values and competencies, applying Pfizer's mission and vision to everyday work.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.
* Previous relevant laboratory experience and good knowledge of cGMPs are desirable.
* Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills are necessary.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
