The Pantry Café at Bray is a vibrant and welcoming eatery going to open in weeks. We are known for its high-quality homemade food, exceptional service, and warm atmosphere. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team and help deliver delicious, freshly prepared meals to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and baked goods, in accordance with our menu and quality standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining consistency and high presentation standards.
* Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and reducing food waste.
* Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
* Assist in menu development and introduce new dishes as needed.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment, preferably in a café or restaurant setting.
* Passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
* Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays as required.

Pay: €13.70-€15.00 per hour
