Our team seeks a highly skilled Systems Commissioning Specialist to oversee the commissioning process of industrial products.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products are properly commissioned, tested and handed over to customers.
* Represent the company as a member or lead of the site/commissioning team during on-site work.
* Liaise with design, production, service and installation departments to ensure smooth project execution.
* Commission and test cranes in-house and after installation on site.
* Complete handover documentation and formalities upon project completion.
* Deliver technical reports on project/job completion.
Key responsibilities include:
Start-up and Verification: Verify and optimize hardware systems, calibrate Variable Speed Inverter drives up to 1Mw, and test PLC software systems.
Training and Handover: Train customer personnel on-site and in-house, hand over and perform performance testing of completed machines, and verify machine reliability and performance.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A degree/diploma in an Electrical/Electronic discipline or at least 3 years of relevant experience in start-up and commissioning of large industrial systems.
* Proven technical skills with hands-on experience working with industrial automation and drive systems.
* Ability to travel as needed.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office across Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
