About Your New Job as Bioprocessing Team Leader:
Responsibility for ensuring that GMP products are manufactured according to the agreed schedule.
Work collaboratively to deliver manufacturing performance targets, solve problems, and remove barriers.
Manage a team of Bioprocessing Scientists and Manufacturing Technicians, providing training, support, motivation, coaching, development, and performance management.
Ensure the team understands safety hazards and controls, perform risk assessments, and maintain inspection readiness.
Lead Quality issue first response during bioprocessing, ensure GMP compliance, and manage documentation and training.
Champion continuous improvement within the team, maintaining high standards for quality-critical manufacturing activities.
What Skills You Need as Bioprocessing Team Leader:
Proven experience in managing advanced biochemical drug substance manufacturing to cGMP requirements.
Strong background in managing operational health and safety in a dynamic environment.
Experience in leading, coaching, and developing operational and technical teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage risk effectively.
Ability to synthesize complex information and use intuition and experience to complement data.
Skilled in structured problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
