A position is available for a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join a busy and professional dealership environment in Westmeath, working with Ford and Mazda vehicles.
This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring excellent service is delivered to every customer.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach.
Communicate directly with customers when necessary to identify issues clearly.
Stay up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques.
Carry out repairs and maintenance work to manufacturer specifications.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety standards.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members when tackling complex repairs.
Perform road tests and use diagnostic tools to verify quality of work.
Complete all required service documentation accurately.
Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure correct use of tools and equipment.
Candidate Requirements
Fully qualified mechanic with relevant certification.
Familiarity with Ford and Mazda vehicles preferred.
Skilled in using diagnostic equipment and interpreting technical data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work efficiently.
Team player with good communication skills.
Computer literacy; knowledge of Keyloop is a plus.
Full, clean driving licence with no penalty points.
