External Sales Representative Hardware Division The business is a market leader in the supply, installation, and servicing of a wide range of construction products, including door hardware, timber doors, steel security doors, automatic doors, movable walls, fire door inspections, faades and window systems, access control solutions, glazing, and related systems.
Due to continued growth, an External Sales Representative is being recruited to join the team, based in Dublin.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Overview of the Role We are seeking a confident, driven, and commercially focused External Sales Representative to expand and strengthen our presence within the Irish construction market.
The role involves promoting and selling a comprehensive hardware and systems portfolio to Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors, while also driving product specification with leading architectural, design, and consultancy practices nationwide.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors across Ireland Drive product specification with architectural, design, and consultancy practices Identify, track, and manage construction projects from early design stages through to completion Deliver professional product presentations to architects, contractors, and key project stakeholders Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales activity and pipeline reports Represent the business professionally at industry events, meetings, and site visits Candidate Requirements Proven experience in external sales, ideally within construction, building materials, or a related sector Strong knowledge of the Irish construction market Experience working with main contractors and architects is highly desirable Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Self-motivated, confident, and results-driven with a strong commercial mindset Ability to manage a sales territory independently and prioritise workload effectively Full, clean driving licence What We Offer Competitive salary with an attractive commission structure Company vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone Clear opportunities for career progression within a growing organisation Supportive team environment with ongoing product and sales training The opportunity to work with a respected product portfolio on high-profile construction projects Skills: Business Development Technical sales
