Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

">
* Maintain the smooth operation of accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
">
* Support the financial management team with ad hoc duties, providing exceptional communication skills to convey complex information clearly and simply.
">
* Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to resolve queries and discrepancies related to purchase orders and supplier invoices.
">
* Develop and implement effective processes to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
">

Key Responsibilities:

">
">
1. Manage trade creditors ledger, preparing and inputting purchase invoices onto the accounting system.
">
2. Allocate payments, deal with purchase order queries, and match POs to supplier invoices.
">
3. Ensure invoice/credit note authorisation process is adhered to, prepare weekly/monthly payment runs, and email/print remittances and bank payment confirmations.
">
4. Analyse expenses, reconcile monthly supplier statements to the creditors ledger, and resolve outstanding inaccuracies/discrepancies with supplier statements.
">
5. Maintain cash book and post bank transactions, payment & DD's, reconcile bank accounts (EUR/USD/GBP), and post credit card transactions.
">
6. Prepare accruals revenue returns, VAT/VIES/Intrastat, and deal with ad hoc queries from internal and external sources.
">
7. Process employee expense claims, file and data manage CSO reports, and provide weekly/monthly reporting on purchase ledger/sales ledger and other organisational KPIs.

Requirements:

">
* Demonstrate excellent analytic capabilities, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
">
* Show ability to work independently and as part of a team, with exceptional problem-solving skills.
">
* Have 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably with Access Dimensions or similar ERP systems.
">
* Possess proficiency using accounting software and other IT applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
">
