Who should apply?
This role will suit qualified tax professionals with a VAT specialism:
* CTA and/or ACA qualified
* 5+ years' experience in a tax advisory role with a strong focus on VAT
* Practice trained (Top 20 ideally), though industry VAT specialists will also be considered
* Experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory projects
* Ambitious and commercially minded with a desire to lead client engagements
Role and Reporting Lines
This role sits within the firm's VAT advisory team, reporting directly to senior leadership. Responsibilities include:
* Client Advisory
– Deliver VAT consultancy services to clients across multiple sectors
* Technical Delivery
– Lead VAT reviews, health checks, and planning assignments
* Revenue Engagement
– Handle VAT queries and liaise with Revenue on clients' behalf
* Client Management
– Build and maintain long-term client relationships
* Team Support
– Mentor and guide junior team members
* Risk & Compliance
– Ensure all deliverables meet quality and compliance standards
* Cross-Functional Work
– Collaborate with other service lines on integrated client solutions
* Business Development
– Identify opportunities for new and existing client growth
