Catering Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Catering Manager to oversee the performance and growth of our client’s catering services in Cork.
About the Role:
This role involves direct line management of multiple services, ensuring seamless operations across the kitchen, onsite restaurants, hospitality events, and vending services.
The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer-focused services that exceed expectations, drive business growth, and contribute to profitability through accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the service.
* Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Foster a team-oriented approach that promotes high staff morale and recognizes individual contributions.
* Track and record team training and progress.
* Develop, organize, and control all aspects of services and activities within client and company guidelines.
* Manage staffing rotas to meet trading patterns, business growth, and operational requirements.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Ensure equipment, fixtures, and fittings are maintained and safe for use.
* Implement strict cash controls, ensuring all staff adhere to the Cash Handling Policy.
Requirements:
* A positive attitude and keen eye for detail.
* Experience in business management or a related field.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* At least 1 year of experience at a Catering Supervisor level or above.
