Your new job: As a Senior Tax Accountant on the Financial Accounting & Reporting team, your job will lean heavily towards applying best practices to their direct and indirect taxation services. Working on a Galway tax team of 4, you will complete Corporate Tax and VAT analysis, filing, submissions and reconciliations and ensure compliance for the EMEA region. The go-to expert for the Finance Department and the Operations Teams on all Corporation Tax matters in the EMEA, you will collaborate continuously with your Indirect Tax Manager and your Tax Compliance Manager to keep abreast of changes in tax and VAT issues that may affect the company and business decisions. You will enhance direct and indirect tax structures, prepare VIES and statutory returns, take responsibility for Transfer Pricing, as well as for Corporation Tax management, and manage filing of tax returns for EMEA entities. You will assist with month-end activities for the GL function, completing ad-hoc functions as requested by Finance Manager. As a Tax expert in the organisation, you may also get a chance to work with their Tax Director in Advisory & Planning on ad-hoc projects.
