Service and Maintenance Manager Contract Type: Permanent Location: Kilkenny Onsite/Hybrid: Hybrid Overview of the role: Responsible for the day to day management of the Veolia Water Mobile Services Department. Duties of the Role include; Liaise with H&S Manager and Quality Manager to ensure all safety measures and quality systems are adhered to. Manage PPE for the team. In conjunction with QHSE prepare risk assessments and method statements for work. Ensure all equipment is compliant and available for use as required. Manage Rivo safety system for the mobile services team. Ensure safety & communication briefings are held for the team. Promote a positive attitude to safety. Manage team of Service Engineers and service support staff. Organise and prioritize service work and allocate appropriately to service engineers to maximise occupancy. Prepare annual, monthly and weekly service plans including all relevant data duration, mechanical /electrical, renewal date, materials needed, contact details etc. Using Concept, prepare invoices for service orders in a timely fashion ensuring invoices are sent out promptly using the CMMS. Prepare WIP and financial information for the month end and prepare a monthly report for the Solutions Manager. Price for and execute service and maintenance contracts. Conduct client meetings. Using SAP, prepare orders and material requests. Manage the procurement for the team (SAP Credit card etc). Provide technical support for pre and post service and sales. Manage the installation, commissioning and start-up of any designated work. Record and act on customer equipment failure reports. Negotiate and resolve customer disputes in a timely fashion. Maximize customer chargeable revenue. Liaise with Solutions Project Managers to ensure service engineers are available and meet the project manager's requirements. Supply Budgets and Financial Forecast to the Solutions Manager at various stages during the financial year. Ensure first class service is provided to customers. Contribute to the ongoing development of the Solutions Department by establishing and maintaining current and prospective clients through regular calls and meetings. Address training and development needs, and to develop training plans for all service staff. Manage and schedule the PPM schedule for the team on the CMMS. Ensuring that cost allocation is completed correctly with finance. Supporting the management and coordination of subcontractors for projects. Support the document management for the various projects. Update the trackers for the various projects. Manage and track scope changes and variations to projects. Prepare technical reports and commissioning documentation as required. Manage the Vehicle fleet in conjunction with leasing provider. Required skills for this role; Desired but not essential formal qualification in Administration or relevant experience; Strong prioritisation and organisational skills Document Control Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite Working in a technical environment Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work to deadlines Please note: ?If you are an EU/EEA national, you will be asked to show proof of right to work in Ireland.
