Offer description

The number one company in Europe for experience gifts, with over 180,000 different ones on offer are looking for two eCommerce Trading Managers to join them, with a focus on either the Swiss or Belgian market.
The client
Reporting to the Senior Trading Manager, you'll play a strategic role in driving revenue growth and be fully accountable for the market's commercial performance, ensuring the execution of the company's digital trading strategy.
They're looking for someone who can bring a strategic head and lead through influence, making data-driven decisions to maximise trading outcomes.
Whilst you've no direct reports you will be leading projects, driving alignment across teams and acting as the key market representative within the Online department.
The role
What experience do I need?
You'll have at least 3 years' experience in eCommerce, trading or digital merchandising, with a track record of driving revenue growth and improving digital performance through merchandising and promotional lever.
You'll be able to have shown strong commercial acumen and an ability to make strategic, data-informed decisions independently.
Pretty bog standard stuff, but you'll also have a strong working knowledge of the relevant analytics tools (think Adobe Analytics, PowerBI etc.
), Excel and CMS systems.
Most importantly, you need a strong understanding of customer behaviour and best practices in either the Swiss or Belgian market.
What will I be doing?
Own market-level performance KPIs (BV, net revenue, conversion, AOV, margin) and drive actions to exceed targets.
Localize and implement the trading strategy, ensuring alignment with central objectives and market dynamics.
Define, execute, and optimize discounting and promotional strategies within margin and budget frameworks.
Use performance data and competitor benchmarks to proactively adjust trading levers (e.g., pricing, product focus, campaign timing).
Lead campaign planning and execution, ensuring coordination across Content, CRM, Product, and Acquisition teams.
Continuously optimize the online catalogue, including ranking, categorization, and navigation for key market segments.
Drive UX and customer journey improvements, partnering with CRO and Product teams to increase conversion and engagement.
Represent the market in performance meetings, proactively communicating outcomes, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
Act as a cross-functional project leader, delivering high-impact initiatives without formal line management.
The candidate
What's in it for me?
They're offering up to 55K as well as a range of benefits, including a summer remote month, family leave enhancements, access to a benefits provider with a huge selection and much more.
They ask you to come into their Dublin office twice a week.
It's also a straightforward interview process; an initial 30 minute welcome call which is followed by a second stage, where you're asked to present a task (nothing too taxing) back to a couple of people.
Finally, you'll have a 30 minute call with the Head of eCommerce.
They're looking to move through these three stages quickly.
