We are a small, dedicated business with over 30 years of industry experience, guided by a commitment to integrity, innovation, and collaboration.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThis candidate will manage the team in providing high-quality financial insights and operational support across a diverse range of industries including Technology, Retail, Engineering, Hospitality and more. Key responsibilities include the following.Prepare and present monthly financial reports, focused on delivering data-driven financial insights to clientsInput & analyse large volumes of financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and performance opportunitiesLiaise with external accountants/auditors to deliver annual accountsAssist in preparing & submitting Revenue returns incl. VAT & related compliance reportingLead client budgeting and forecasting activitiesProvide consultancy and gap analysis services to clients on a project basisSupport the effective management of the payroll function in line with our payroll management systemEngage in the development and implementation of company strategic and operational plansPromote the business and identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities to support growthEnsure compliance with internal/external controls and legislative changesAct as the point of contact for all staff, providing support for effective business deliveryManage the company-wide deliverables and priorities via our project management systemPromote a collaborative and supportive team environment to ensure maximum productivityManage team members goals, competencies and ongoing training needsReport to the CEO on employee performance, client deliverables and quality metricsSupport staff recruitment, induction and trainingProvide cover when other team members are absentUndertake any other duties appropriate to the role, as requiredRequirementsA degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or equivalent experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience as a manager or mentor within a teamAbility to deal with sensitive matters professionally and confidentiallyAbility to work flexibly, take initiative and work to tight deadlinesExtensive experience in Microsoft Excel (essential)Experience producing management accounts / month end reporting (desirable)Experience with SQL coding or BI dashboards like Power BI, Tableau (desirable)BenefitsFour Day Week Programme (Paid for Five)Hybrid WorkingSupport for further studyCompetitive SalaryPensionPerformance BonusBirthday Day offPrivate Health InsuranceBike to Work / Travel Saver SchemeDue to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
