Senior SAP FI Consultant Long Term Day Rate Contact Cork/HrbridWe are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to provide dedicated support and backfill within an established SAP ERP environment. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on configuration expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and will play a key role in supporting ongoing business operations, system enhancements, and cross-functional integration activities. This role requires a solid understanding of core SAP Finance processes, with particular focus on costing, billing, and integration with logistics and supply chain modules.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and support SAP FI modules within an SAP ERP environmentProvide hands-on expertise in Financial Accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset AccountingSupport costing and billing processes in alignment with business requirementsEnsure effective integration between SAP FI and Logistics / Supply Chain modules (e.g. MM, SD)Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, and ITSupport system testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testingContribute to documentation of functional specifications and configuration designAssist with system improvements, upgrades, and enhancements as requiredRequired ExperienceMinimum 7 years' hands-on SAP FI configuration experience within SAP ERPStrong knowledge of Financial Accounting processes and best practicesProven experience in costing and billing configurationDemonstrated experience integrating SAP FI with Logistics and Supply Chain modulesExperience supporting business users and resolving functional issuesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDesirableExperience working in complex enterprise environmentsExposure to SAP S/4HANAExperience in project-based and support rolesStrong stakeholder communication skills
