Senior Java Developer (Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong backend expertise to play a key role in designing and delivering robust, secure, and scalable applications with the Public Sector.

The Role
Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions
Work on a large, complex programme with multiple stakeholders
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including architects, analysts, and DevOps
Ensure high‑quality code, performance optimisation, and best engineering practices
Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Strong commercial experience in Java backend development
Experience working on large‑scale enterprise projects
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Ability to work in structured, stakeholder‑heavy environments
Must be based in Ireland and able to work 2 days onsite in Dublin
