Occupational Therapist – Adult Physical & Sensory DisabilitiesMedforce are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our small, experienced Primary Care team in Dundalk. This is an exciting opportunity to work with adults aged 18–65 years in a sensory-focused setting, providing assessment and intervention for clients with a range of complex needs. I will discuss this role with Staff and Senior level.You will manage a varied caseload that may include individuals who are:Non-verbal and/or have communication difficultiesLiving with physical and intellectual disabilitiesRecovering from acquired brain injuriesLiving with spinal injuriesThis is a collaborative role, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in maximising independence, participation, and quality of life.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive occupational therapy assessment and intervention for adults with complex needs.Deliver evidence-based, client-centred interventions in sensory, functional, and rehabilitation contexts.Support clients to develop independence in daily living skills, communication, and community participation.Work collaboratively with families, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team.Contribute to service development and promote best practice in sensory-focused occupational therapy.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service audits and reporting.Provide clinical supervision and support to students or junior colleagues where appropriate.Essential RequirementsBSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU).CORU registrationMinimum of 1-year post-qualification experience (staff grade) or 3+ years (senior grade).Experience working with adults with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities.Access to own vehicle and full licence.What We OfferOpportunities for professional development, training, and specialisation in sensory-focused practice.Competitive salary based on HSE Occupational Therapist pay scales.Flexible working arrangements considered.If you are interested in this role please click apply or contact jreid@medforce.ie
