Job Description
The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in directing and coordinating technical and maintenance activities to support production. This involves ensuring a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly working environment while achieving plant performance metrics.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying equipment issues and reliability through data analysis.
* Apply effective methods of preventative and corrective maintenance to optimize resource deployment.
* Develop and track the department's KPIs to measure equipment and maintenance performance.
* Champion asset condition management through non-intrusive testing, predictive maintenance, and monitoring to maximize uptime.
* Supervise employees, allocate work, coordinate training, and address issues up to counselling stage.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 8+ years of experience in an Engineering or Technical Leadership role, preferably in Life Science, Medical Device, and Pharmaceutical Industry.
* Trades qualification and/or Level 7 or 8 Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are advantageous.
* Experience or qualification in Reliability Engineering is desirable.
* Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and project management skills.
* Able to influence within a matrix organisation with direct and indirect authority.
